Wayne Franklin Pace, age 43, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away on July 1, 2025. Born on December 3, 1981, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Wayne was a beloved son, father, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and his adventurous spirit.

Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a proud graduate of Minford High School, Class of 2000, where he played football and socializing with his friends. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman, finding peace and exhilaration in hunting and fishing. He often shared his love for nature with those closest to him, creating lasting memories during weekend excursions.

For over 25 years, Wayne worked as a self-employed building contractor, carving a successful career in the construction industry and demonstrating his commitment to quality craftsmanship. His dedication to his work was a reflection of his strong work ethic, a trait he carried from his time as a member of the Electricians Local Union Portsmouth IBEW #575.

Beyond his professional life, Wayne was a passionate musician who loved playing guitar, often bringing joy to gatherings with his talent. His infectious spirit and warm heart will be greatly missed.

Wayne leaves behind his two daughters, Maddison and Haliegh Pace of Otway, along with his parents, John and Kathy (Nee McGuire) Pace, two brothers, John Michael Pace and Andrewb(Amber Conley) Pace, and twin sisters, Annette (Donald) Taulbee and Anita (Garrett) Moore, all of Wheelersburg, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his one brother, Matthew Pace. He will always be remembered for his adventurous nature, his unwavering support for his loved ones, and his passion for life.
