Warren Frye, (aged 66) beloved brother, husband, father and grandfather, passed away quietly at his home Saturday April 20, 2024.

Warren was a graduate of Portsmouth High School (Class of 1975), and continued his education, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio University (Class of 1993). He went on to work for nearly 30 years with the Department of Jobs and Family Services before retiring in 2022.

Providing for his family at a young age, Warren chose to dedicate his life to giving. His commitment to helping others as a social worker touched and improved the lives of every person he met.

Warren most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Always diplomatic, he was a man of infinite patience who never passed judgment. His love was absolute.

Preceded in death by his dearest mother, Gertrude Frye nee Combs (1933 - 2005) and father, Warren Hill Frye (1891 - 1968).

Survived by sisters, Billie Riffe (69), Diane Kinker (65), Patty Hotchkins (63) and brother, Waite Hill Frye (61), his cherished wife Catherine Frye (72), sons Michael Shawn Frye (48) and Kiery Seth Frye (42), grandsons Dorian Jobe Frye (22) and Kaynan Warren Frye (16).

A life celebration and memorial will be held in his honor at a future date.
