F. C. Daehler Mortuary Co.
Verlin "Lee" Martin, born July 19, 1946, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the son of Carrol and Evelyn Martin, both of whom preceded him in death.
Lee lived a life of hard work, service, and generosity. Over the years he held many roles - welder, independent contractor, and custodian - each one reflecting his strong work ethic and steady commitment to providing for those he loved. He served his country proudly as a Vietnam War veteran.
He had an amazing talent for working with engines and could often be found tinkering, fixing, or lending a hand to anyone who needed help. Lee also enjoyed traveling across the United States, especially the trips he shared with his dear friend Anna Harris.
He is survived by his children, Andrew Martin and Terry Webb; his brother, Eddie Martin; and his sisters, Myran Middleton and Judy Kepp, as well as his 5 beloved grandchildren and his 6 great-grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
