Longtime Portsmouth Resident
FC Daehler Mortuary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tina Marie Veach, age 57, on March 11, 2026, in New Boston, Ohio. After a very short battle with an illness, her time here on earth touched the hearts of many, and we all are extremely heartbroken. Born on October 7, 1968, in Portsmouth, Tina was a devoted wife, "the best" loving mom, and cherished mamaw whose vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Tina dedicated over 20 years to the nursing profession, spending the last 10 years as the Director of Nursing in the Scioto County area. She was a proud 1988 graduate of Portsmouth High School, earned her LPN at Collins Career Center before completing her RN and BSN at Shawnee University in 2012. Tina was not just a nurse but a "Hell of a Nurse," as those close to her often said, never hesitating to offer her care and compassion, even when on vacation. The time she spent with her family traveling, especially at the beach or being a nurse brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

She had a passion for life that drew people to her, always the life of the party and never afraid to voice her thoughts. Tina was a member of the Portsmouth Eagles, where she found camaraderie and joy among her friends.

Her greatest love, however, was for her family. Tina is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Anthony "Tony" Veach; her son Terry Joseph (Tiffany) Veach of Cincinnati; her daughters, Jessi (Corey Bailey) Veach of Wheelersburg and Toni (Nathaniel) Brafford of South Webster; her nephew, whom she loved as her own, Tyler (Courtnie Charles) Miller of West Portsmouth and her adored grandchildren: Kambrey "Little Miss", Lane, Jaxon, Sawyer, Maverick, Kayden "Little Man", Emma, Rylee, Alexis, Katie, Olivia, Conner, Aiden, Isabella, Madison, Landon, Paisly, Wyatt, Madalee, Adalynn, Skyler, and Ryder; brothers: Jody Miller of Otway and Phillip Miller, II of Tennessee; and her best friend, Kelly Coppock of Portsmouth, as well as many more loved ones and especially all her work family from all over Scioto County.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Phillip Miller, I, Carmel Candy and Jerry Cummings, sister Mickey Eldridge, and nephew Jeffrey Holbert.

Tina's unique and one-of-a-kind personality brightened the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Friday March 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM (NOON) to 1:00 PM.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM, with the Nurses Honor Guard, all at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, OH.
Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park, McDermott. Pastor Brian Holbrook will be officiating.

In ,this time of grief, we encourage all those whose lives she touched to join us in honoring her memory and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. The family would like to thank all the providers and nurses at SOMC ICU for their compassion and care they extended to Tina.
