FC Daehler Mortuary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tim L. Marion, a beloved figure from Portsmouth, Ohio, who left us peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on May 2, 1961, Tim's laughter and warmth touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a cherished member of the community, known for his quick wit and infectious spirit.
Tim dedicated many years of his life to the Portsmouth Ambulance Service and Life Ambulance. His time at Portsmouth Health and Rehab was marked by his unique ability to lighten the atmosphere, making staff and residents smile even in the toughest times. Remarkably empathetic, Tim always thought of others, seeking to ensure that everyone around him was doing okay.
Tim loved to cruise the roads of New Boston, often stopping by the New Boston Fire Department to catch up with friends. He worked several years at Blackburns, where his jovial personality continued to brighten the days of those around him. Tim had a fondness for snacks, a refreshing Coke, or a classic Mt. Dew, often enjoyed while listening to the EMS scanner he loved so much.
Tim is survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends, who will remember him not only as family but as a kind-hearted jokester whose spirit will forever be a source of joy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Joann (Nee Martin) Marion, grandma Ada Martin and great aunt, Sophie Adams.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a kind word or a memory of Tim, as he would have wanted to ensure that everyone felt loved and appreciated. Special thanks are extended to the caring staff at Portsmouth Health and Rehab, whose compassion and support provided Tim comfort in his final days.
Tim L. Marion will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness, humor, and thoughtfulness will continue to inspire us all.
