Terry McCoy, 74, of Friendship, Ohio, passed away at his home on July 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 13, 1952, to Albert and Irene McCoy.

Terry graduated from Portsmouth West High School and later served in the United States Army. On December 11, 1976, he married the love of his life, Rachel. He enjoyed farming and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene McCoy, and his brothers, Albert McCoy Jr., Rodney McCoy, and Gary McCoy.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Rachel McCoy; his son, Adam (Tracey) McCoy; his daughters, Tabby (Jason) Newlan and Paula McCoy; his grandchildren, Tucker and Zane McCoy, Luke, Bo, and Layla Wroten, and Wyatt Conley; his sisters, Karen Davidson, Phyllis Ferguson, and Janice Elliott; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Terry will be remembered for his love of his family, his dedication to farming, and the life he built in the Friendship community.
