A skilled Master Carpenter, an avid outdoorsman, and a proud US Army Veteran, Terry Clyde Cooper, of McDermott, passed away on May 17, 2024. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on October 10, 1960, his life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and love.

Having spent 33 joyous years with his beloved wife, Terri, Terry recently returned to his childhood home in Scioto County after a life lived largely in California. Their bond was unbreakable, their memories countless, cherished moments woven into the fabric of their journey together.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Donald Cooper and uncle, Harry Cooper

Crafting beauty with his hands, Terry found solace in woodworking and the great outdoors. Hunting, fishing, cruising through the Shawnee Forest in his Jeep - each moment held a piece of his free spirit, a piece of his heart.

Terry's loving memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Terri (Nee Russell) Cooper of McDermott, his loving mother, Ruth (Nee Keeton) Copas of New Boston, his cherished brother-in-laws: Mike (Pamela) Russell of Auburn, CA and David Russell of Carmichael, CA, sister-in-law Lisa (Tommy Dixon) Russell of Durham, CA, his aunts: Helen Bays of Rosemount and April (James) Thurman of West Portsmouth, a multitude of cousins, and his lifelong friends. His impact on their lives was immeasurable, his presence a beacon of warmth and joy.

As we celebrate his life, mourn his passing, and honor his service to our country, let us remember Terry as the man he was - kind, compassionate, and fiercely devoted to those he held dear.

Please visit www.fcdaehlermortuary.com to honor his memory, share stories, and leave condolences for his family. May we find solace in the legacy he leaves behind, a life well lived, he was loved; in memory, he is eternal.

Rest in peace, Terry Clyde Cooper. Your spirit soars free, your love remains eternal, and your memory forever cherished.
