A radiant soul and beloved matriarch, Tammy Sue Estes entered this world on the 3rd of October, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio. She embraced life with a warm embrace, finding joy in tending to her cherished family and home, indulging her granddaughters with love and laughter, and sharing tales with dear ones over the phone.

As the sun set on May 22, 2024, in a quiet departure, Tammy transcended this realm, leaving behind a legacy that will forever illuminate the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Burlin and Sue, along with her siblings Michael, Ruth Ann, and Nancy Corns.

Tammy's spirit lives on through the enduring bond she shared with her lifetime partner, Todd Bell, and their two daughters, Tonya and Tracy. Tonya, now married to Robert "Mitchell" Smith, resides in Wedowee, AL, while Tracy, accompanied by her husband Christopher Sowards, remains in Portsmouth. Her granddaughters, Lindsey, Emily, Chelsea, and Abrielle, were her pride and joy, each carrying a piece of her light into the future.

Alongside her loving family, Tammy is celebrated by her brothers Lewis, Dale, David, and Paul, as well as her sisters Gale and Mary Ann. Together, they honor her memory with tales of her kindness, her laughter, and the unwavering love she bestowed upon them.

In the days to come, we invite all who were touched by Tammy's grace to join us in commemorating her extraordinary life.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at Farley Square Community Center in Portsmouth on Friday May 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM to honor her memory, a chance for us to reminisce, to grieve, and to find solace in the knowledge that Tammy's spirit will forever be with us.
