Sarah Ann Schuman, 43 years old, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday September 1, 2025. She was born July 25, 1982, in Ironton Ohio, to Connie Riddlebarger and the late Keith McFann.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father Keith McFann, her husband Jason Schuman, her second dad, James Riddlebarger, maternal grandparents, Virgil and Henrietta Evans, paternal grandparents, Emory "Pete" and Margaret McFann, uncle Larry Evans, and uncle Gary.

She is survived by her Mom, Connie Riddlebarger, one son, Jacob (Lori) Schuman of Portsmouth, two daughters: Kati McFan Schuman and Alexis Schuman both of McDermott, one brother Cody Riddlebarger of Lucasville, sisters: Kieonna (Logan) Ashcraft of Columbus, Amanda McFann of Lucasville, nephews: Tanzy, Keith and Conner McFann; nieces: Henrietta and Freyja McFann, Mother in law Pamela Murphy of McDermott and her cherished furchild, Tay, along with many cousins and aunts.

She was a friend to many and would help even a stranger if she could. Her children were her world and to her they were her greatest accomplishment in life. She will forever be remembered and dearly missed.

A Gathering to celebrate Sarah's life will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4:30 PM till 7:00 PM, at FC Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
