FC Daehler Mortuary

Nathan Carter, born on September 5, 1990, embraced the beautiful gift of life until he departed on March 16, 2024. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of nature, often spending his days biking and relishing the great outdoors. Nathan held a special place in his heart for his family, cherishing moments spent together and ensuring their happiness and well-being.

In a sorrowful turn of events, Nathan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Chelsey Carter, along with his grandparents, George and Violet White, and cousin Willie White. Although their physical presence is no longer with us, their memories will forever be cherished.

Nathan leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories. He is survived by his loving daughter Jasmine, who was his pride and joy. Among those who will deeply miss him are his father Billie Riggs of Manchester. Nathan's spirit will also be carried on by his brothers: Jonathan McCormick of Minford, Cody Day of Hammersville, Robby Harr of Owensville; and sisters: Rachael Meadows of Portsmouth, Roseanna Breedlove of Columbus. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness.

In this time of mourning, donations can be made directly to FC Daehler Mortuary at 915 Ninth Street in Portsmouth, OH 45662. Your contributions will aid the family in arranging Nathan's final farewell as they navigate through this difficult period.

Nathan Carter will be remembered for his warm spirit, love for nature, and dedication to his family. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he brought light into the lives of those around him.
