Nancy Gertrude Drennen, 60, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away at her home on July 21, 2026.

Born on August 9, 1965, in Gallipolis, Ohio, Nancy was the daughter of Omar Drennen and June Taylor.

Nancy worked as a housekeeper and took great pride in caring for others. She enjoyed cooking, drinking coffee, and watching Little House on the Prairie. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always able to make people laugh. Above all, Nancy loved her grandchildren dearly, and they brought her tremendous joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Omar Drennen and June Taylor, and by her two brothers, Sam Drennen Jr. and Don Drennen.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Michael Shain Petrie of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Zeckariah Harris of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Janusz "Bear" Harris Jr. of Jackson, Ohio; her daughters, Tiffany Harris of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Zsunaja Harris of Chillicothe, Ohio; her sisters, Norma Jenkins (Drennen) of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Judy Bowman (Drennen) of Gate City, Virginia; and her 11 beloved grandchildren. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Nancy will be remembered for her warm heart, her laughter, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

No formal services will be held at this time for Nancy.
