Minnie Sue Sines, 69, of West Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025,

surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 16, 1955, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Minnie was the daughter of the late Frank

and Margaret Phillips. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and

her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life.

Minnie is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Sines; their son, Michael (Beth) Sines of

West Portsmouth; and their daughter, Laura Sines (John Windsor), also of West Portsmouth.

She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Hunter Windsor, Ethan Sines, Claire

Sines, all of West Portsmouth, and Skylar (Austin) Bloomfield of South Webster; and a

cherished great-grandmother to Charlotte Bloomfield, all of whom brought immense joy to her

life.

She is also survived by her siblings: sister Florida (Gary) Cade of Lucasville; brothers Frank

(Diane) Phillips Jr. of Wheelersburg, Paul (Shawna) Phillips of McDermott, and Tim (Judy)

Phillips of McDermott; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who

will deeply miss her warmth and kindness.

Minnie was a talented seamstress who found joy in sewing, crafting, and creating with her

hands. She loved traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains and to Washington State to visit

family. Minnie was happiest when surrounded by those she loved and found her greatest

purpose in being a source of comfort and joy to her family. She was also a faithful member of

the Church of God.

Her presence will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, creativity, and devotion will live on

in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Church of God High Praises, 1712 Harrisonville Ave, (State Route 139) Portsmouth, OH 45662, Saturday October 25th at 4:00 PM.
