Mark Knudson died peacefully November 11, 2023 in the presence of those who loved him.

Mark was a lifelong, passionate musician, best known for his innovative take on jazz drumming and peaceful melodies on the acoustic guitar and piano. During his time at Berkley School of Music, he could be found after school hours playing big ticket venues at various jazz clubs in Boston and beyond.

He shared his musical talents with many churches throughout his lifetime as he was part of a traveling worship ministry in his young adult years before becoming a worship leader at his local church in Columbus, Ohio.

Mark always desired a simplified way of living but had an appreciation for quality craftsmanship. He was an adventurer who loved his time surfing in Hawaii and skiing the slopes of the Swiss Alps, Grand Tetons, Lake Tahoe, Big Sky and Aspen among others. He loved hiking, boating, golfing, watching movies and playing board games with his children.

As a father and grandfather, Mark transformed children's worlds into a whimsical experience of laughter and creativity. Mark will be remembered for his peaceful presence, lighthearted humor and exemplary musicianship.
