Kenny R. Noel, 81, of Minford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

He was born April 6, 1945, in Minford, to the late Elmer and Amy (Moss) Noel. A lifelong resident of Minford, Kenny was a proud graduate of Minford High School, Class of 1963.

A dedicated Christian, Kenny served as a Sunday School teacher at Portsmouth Baptist Church and loved singing praises to the Lord. He and his beloved wife, Janice, enjoyed spending time working side by side on projects both indoors and outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, Kenny enjoyed horseback riding, camping, golfing, fishing with his dad and brothers, and taking pride in keeping his lawn cut. He also cherished trips to Amish country in New Philadelphia and Dover.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Noel, and his mother, Amy (Moss) Noel.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Janice E. (Riggs) Noel; his daughter, Amy Crabtree of Rubyville; step-daughter, Jennifer Harless of Columbus; two brothers, Don (Kyra) Noel of Minford and Ralph (Terri) Noel of Minford; and two grandchildren, Brandon (Laura) Lacey of Wheelersburg and Kyle (Miranda) Blanton of Lucasville.

A public funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Portsmouth Baptist Church, 4370 Old Scioto Trail, Portsmouth, OH 45662, with Preacher Mike Phillips officiating. Jeff Chinn will read the obituary, and special music will be provided by vocalist Samuel Lore. A fellowship dinner for family and friends will immediately follow the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made via crowdfunding through the F.C. Daehler Mortuary website, by phone, or in person at F.C. Daehler Mortuary to assist the family with final services.
