Kathleen "Kathy" B. Davis

August 24,1952 - September 16, 2026

Portsmouth Resident

F. C. Daehler Mortuary

Kathy, affectionately known over the years as Daisy, Cat, Bernie, Nanny Bernie, and Grandma, was born on August 24, 1952.

Kathy was the proud mother of two daughters, Amy and Julie. She also loved her two cats, Cali, who was waiting for her in the afterworld, and Baby Kitty.

Kathy was smart, witty, funny, and strong-willed. She knew what she wanted and expected to get it. She had friends who enjoyed living life to the fullest, and she carried plenty of personality wherever she went. She could make us laugh, and we especially enjoyed aggravating her because her reactions were often part of the fun.

Kathy was cared for at home by Heather, her home health care worker, whom she loved and appreciated. She also cherished her friends Emily, Marta, Peggy, Loretta, and Mike.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Leona and Gardner Dunham; her brother, Eddie; and her younger sister, Cindy.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy and Julie; her grandchildren, Abbie, Chelsee, Carli, Phillip, Taylor, Madison, and Jacob; and her great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She is also survived by her brother, David (Carol) Dunham, and her sisters, Donna (Tom) Reihl and Susie (Norman) Hill.

Kathy will be remembered for her quick wit, strong personality, sense of humor, and the love she had for her family, friends, and beloved cats. She leaves behind many memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
