John Turner departed from his earthly life to his heavenly home with Jesus on December 14th at Buckeye Forest at Rosemount Pavilion surrounded by his family.

John was born on July 8, 1954 in Portsmouth Ohio to the late Paul C.Turner and Ruth Boggs Turner. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Turner and sister, Kathy Turner

John was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School with the class of 1972. He was employed by Harts Stores in Portsmouth, Ohio in the security department. He also was employed by Ashland Oil.

He is survived by his brother, Phil (Terri) Turner of Etna Ohio and sisters Paula (Loyd) Rife of Thornville, Ohio, Carolyn (Butch) Carpenter of Lucasville, Ohio.

The family wishes to thank the nursing and administrative staff at Rosemount Pavilion for all their wonderful care for John. I will thank my God every time I remember you.
