Joan Hair, a luminous soul whose spirit shone brightly through the trials of life, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 2, 1945, Joan lived a life defined by unwavering faith, love, and kindness.

A devoted worshiper of the Lord, Joan approached life with a heart full of grace. Even in the face of profound loss-including the passing of her beloved parents, husband, children, and sibling-she remained a beacon of hope and strength for all who knew her. Her steadfast belief in God's love and forgiveness inspired countless individuals, reminding them of His enduring presence in their lives, especially during the tough times.

Joan's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family; she held a deep, maternal love for her nieces, treating them as daughters and always ensuring they felt cherished and supported. Her compassion and kindness will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was survived by her two grandchildren, Jonathan and Angelina Hair of Texas, her sister Shirley Mack of Nevada and brother, David Jackson of California, and two nieces, Jennifer Brewer of Columbus and Helen (Christopher) White of Lucasville.

As we reflect on Joan's life, let us carry forward her message of hope and compassion, illuminating our own paths as she did for so many. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered as a true light in this world.
