Jennifer "Jennie" Elaine Mollett, passed away October 7, 2026, at SOMC Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 20, 1948 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the Late Robert and Ruby (Hook) Wolfe, Jr.
Jennie's journey through life was marked by her dedication and warmth. A graduate of Glenwood High School in 1966, she devoted many years of her life to serving others as a housekeeper and dialysis equipment cleaner at Mercy Hospital, retiring from a fulfilling career after many years of hard work. She also spent 16 years at the American Legion #471, where she took great pride in cleaning the post.
A cherished member of the First Church of God in New Boston, Jennie served as a Sunday school teacher and community coordinator, sharing her faith and love with all who crossed her path. Her compassionate spirit was known to all, and she often greeted challenges with her beloved phrase, "We'll figure it out."
Jennie had many passions that brought joy to her life. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and solving puzzles, often finding solace in her hobbies. A passionate gardener, Jenny nurtured not only beautiful flowers but also bountiful vegetable gardens, enjoying the fruits of her labor through canning and cooking. She delighted in hosting family gatherings, where she created lasting memories and cherished traditions for those she loved.
Jennie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Ruby (Hook) Wolfe, Jr., and one beloved granddaughter, Trisiti Mollett.
Jennie is survived by her two devoted sons: William "Bill" (Paula) Mollett of New Boston and Randy (Kelly) Mollett of Portsmouth, her loving daughter, Kimberly (Jerry) Collins of Portsmouth, adoring grandchildren: Timothy (Caitlyn), William, Michael, Jessica, McKenzie, Isaiah, Allyson, Kailey, Morgan, Mason; great grandchildren: Braden, Elise, Tristin, Olivia, Sawyer, Micheal (Pickle) and one on the way; and two loving siblings, Jack (Kathy) Wolfe of New Boston, and Robert "Bobbie" Allan (Debbie) Wolfe of Lucasville.
While her family will feel the profound absence of a loving heart and stubborn spirit, they find comfort knowing she is now in the embrace of her Lord and Savior, free from the pain of cancer.
