In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Scott Rammel

 

Jeffrey "Scott" Rammel, born on September 13, 1958, touched the lives of many during his 65 years on this earth. He peacefully passed away on September 18, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

 

Scott was a dedicated security guard, serving the community as part of the SOMC security team, until his retirement. His commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others was a testament to his caring nature and strong work ethic.

 

Scott was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a passion for sports, fishing, coaching, watching sports, playing cards, taking care of animals, and spending time with his family.

 

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, David and Janet Rammel, and brother, David Rammel.

 

Scott leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share his life, especially his wife, Nancy, of 42 years.

 

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; three sons: Richard Alan (Tracy) of Portsmouth, Anthony Scott (Angel) of South Point, David Ryan (Ashley) of Portsmouth; two grandsons: Morgan and Bailey (Hayley); four granddaughters: Kara, Kayla, and Aubree Rammel, and Baylee Mathews; a sister, Barbara (Brian) Jacquet, and several nieces and nephews. His family will continue to cherish the precious memories they created together.

 

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. May Scott's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
