FC Daehler Mortuary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Geneva M. Mullins, who left this world on June 26, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 15, 1947, in the quaint town of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Geneva lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. A devoted spouse, and loving mother and gran, her warm spirit touched the lives of all who had the fortune to know her.
Throughout her life, Geneva embodied resilience and grace; she managed to balance the demands of a thriving restaurant career with the warmth and nurturing spirit of her home. She often extended her compassion beyond just her family, creating an inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel like they belonged. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness, a gift to many.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie (Nee Todd) Suggs, husband Gordon Fairchild, one infant daughter, Anne Marie, two brothers: Jessie and Joe Suggs, and two sisters: Annie Todd and Rilla Causey.
Geneva is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Mullins, loving daughters: Vickie (Matthew) Crawford of Vanceburg, KY, Shawna Stevens of Dublin, and Julie Clark of Leland, NC; grandchildren: Stephan "Alex" (Jessica) Kulas, Madison Stevens, Morgan (Jordan) Burton, Wyatt Crawford, Jeff Evans and Adam Collins; great grandchildren: Kaiden and Amelia; siblings: Purley, William, Lee and Frances and sister in law Kathy; and many nieces and nephews. Each of these relationships was a testament to the strength of her love and the bonds that she cherished.
The family invites all of those whose lives were touched by Geneva to join them in celebrating her life. Graveside services will be held in her honor on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 12:00 Noon, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, KY.
Geneva's family would like to thank Heritage Assisted Living, Westwood Christian Church, SOMC Hospital and Hospice and their Palliative care team for all their love and compassionate care they extended. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SOMC Hospice House.
