Gary Ratcliff, 55 years old, longtime resident of New Boston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, after a long battle of illness.

Gary was born on September 1, 1968, to James and Bonnie Lou (Nee Jenkins) Ratcliffe.

He grew up enjoying fishing, being outdoors and working on automobiles.

He later became a auto mechanic working for himself, and helping many repair their vehicles. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and truly loved his animals. Especially his favorite dogs Ruthie and June Bug.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimbo Ratcliff, and three sisters: Regina Clark, Jamie Ratcliff and Kathy Lynn Ratcliff.

Gary is survived by his one son, Jay Mance of Ironton, one brother, Shawn (Mari Ann Sisler) Ratcliff of Ironton, one sister, Connie (Ray Middleton) Riffe of South Shore, KY, many nieces, nephews and friends.
