Farish Wayne "Buddy" Meade

November 24, 1962 - December 3, 2023

Farish Wayne "Buddy" Meade, 61 years old, Minford resident, was unexpectedly taken from us on Sunday December 3, 2023, at his niece's residence.

He was born November 24, 1962, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Farish and Leatha Fay (née Montgomery) Meade.

Buddy lived a hard life in his younger years as a timber worker with his brothers and his father. He enjoyed drawing in notebooks in the evening before bed, riding bikes with his great nephews, and he loved to work on lawn equipment and bicycles. He really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His greatest moment in life was when his daughter was born. He was always proud of her and he thought of her often. Even though he only got to see her a handful of times throughout his life, he thought about her always. Buddy has always been a good-hearted person. He will be extremely loved and missed forever by many.

Buddy was survived by a daughter, Mea Dean Meade, and a grandbaby of Marion, Ohio; a brother, James Meade of Minford; three sisters: Thelma Lynn Meade of Minford, Velma (William "Bill") Winn of Minford, and Tammy (Mark) Stienbrook of Wellston, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents Farish and Leatha Fay (Nee Montgomery) Meade, two sisters: Wanda Ann Meade, Virginia Ellen (Virgil Eugene) Cole; one brother, Willie Martin Meade; and one nephew Pete O'Brian Eldridge (fiancé Heather (Andronis) James).

There will be no viewing at this time. The family will be planning arrangements for a memorial service at a later date.
