South Shore Resident
FC Daehler Mortuary

Donna "Kay" Jacobs, age 88, of South Shore, Kentucky, was taken to Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1938, in Glouster, Ohio. She fought the good fight, she kept the Faith, and she finished her course. She truly lived her life not only for her Heavenly Father, but also for her husband Paul, her children Jan (married to Greg), Jay (married to Anita), Jill (married to Daryl), and great-nephew Tom, who called Kay and Paul Mom and Dad. She was an amazing blessing to her 12 grandchildren: Nathan (married to Katie), Rachel (married to Daren), Daniel (married to Chelsie), Hannah (married to Alvin), Samuel (married to Rachel), Matthew (married to Calie), Joshua, MacKenzie (married to Dylan), Josiah (married to Madison), Danielle (married to Andrew), Isaiah (married to Sydney), and Anna (married to Carter). Kay also loved Nancy Potter and her daughter Tasha (married to Shane) like her own daughter and granddaughter. Twenty-seven of her great-grandchildren are now enriching this world because she chose to follow Jesus and pour out her life as a drink offering to God as well as for the rest of us. She is also survived by her brother Ken and his wife Marie. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her half-sister Wilma, her mother Mildred and father Raymond Hines, as well as Paul, the husband of her youth and old age. She faithfully attended church for as long as any of us can remember, and she prayed for thousands of us over the many years of her life. Hers was a pure Religion and undefiled before God as she visited the fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and kept herself unspotted from the world.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to HillCross Church of God or Legacy Christian Academy.
