Donald Lee Jamison, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on December 19, 1951, Don lived a life full of passion, love, and creativity that touched many along the way.

Don was a beloved husband to Debra Jamison, with whom he shared an incredible 53 years of marriage. Together, they traveled through life's journey, creating beautiful memories filled with music and adventure. Whether it was enjoying a weekend pickin' session in the garage or hitting the open road on his motorcycle, Don embraced life with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love.

As a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam Era, Don's service as an oil mechanic exemplified his dedication and commitment. After returning home, he channeled his mechanical prowess into his work as a mechanic, where he found joy in fixing vehicles and helping friends and family keep their rides on the road.

A talented classic rock guitar player, Don entertained countless friends and family with his incredible music skills. He graced the stages of Scioto County, performing at local gigs and events like River Days, where his love for music brought smiles and sparked joy in the hearts of many. Even after stepping off the stage, he continued to play, enjoying jam sessions every couple of weeks with those who shared his passion.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Juanita (Nee Abdon) Jamison, one grandson, Dallas Cooper, Jr., three brothers: John Jr., Farris "Sonny" and Lowell Jamison; and one sister Lareda Barnett.

Don is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years Debra (Nee Munyon) Jamison, one daughter Kristie Jamison of New Boston; grandchildren: Jerica (Alex) Thompson of West Portsmouth, Abbegail Plevrakis of West Union; five great grandchildren: Laiken, Zoey, Henley, Ridley Stevens all of West Portsmouth and Lennox Doughman of West Union, sister-in-law, Madeline Taulbee, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, who will forever treasure the memories of their time together. His vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In honoring the remarkable life of Donald Lee Jamison, a gathering will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Service with Military Honors at 7:00 PM, all at FC Daehler Mortuary 915 Ninth Street Portsmouth, OH 45662.
