Deborah Lynn Wilson

Deborah Wilson, age 69, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 4th, 2020. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, to Durward and Theresa (Nee: McElhaney) Evans. Debbie was a animal lover, especially her 'grand puppies' and dear cat. She was an avid Buckeye fan, and could be found tuned into the game every Saturday throughout the season. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband of 29 years when he passed, Gary Wilson, and her daughter, Nicole Wilson.  Deborah is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Bill) Grooms of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Lindsey (Corey) Steele of Columbus, one adorable grandson, also of Columbus, and a very dear cousin, Pat McPeek, of Dallas, Texas.  In honor of Debbie's journey through transplant and dialysis, please make donations in her honor to her favorite charity, the National Kidney Foundation.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Friday, December 11th, 1-2 PM, all at F.C.Daehler Mortuary, 915 9th Street, Portsmouth. Interment immediately following in Memorial Burial Park.  F.C. Daehler Mortuary is caring for the family.
