Christopher Daniel Nuckols (Cullum), 46, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away July 15, 2026. He was born December 11, 1979.

Christopher was a graduate of West Portsmouth High School, Class of 1997. He enjoyed working through math problems, fishing, grilling out, drawing, and journaling. He loved video games and card games, and he took pride in his work as a carpenter and in construction.

An avid outdoorsman, Christopher also loved camping and spending time outside. When he could, he made time for what mattered most-his family.

Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Nuckols, and his father, William D. Cullum. His parents were together for many years but never married.

He is survived by his daughters: Ashley (Joshua Grigsby) Nuckols of Danville, Ohio; Melissa (Austin Simpson) Nuckols of Jackson, Ohio; Whitney (Zayne Roberts) Nuckols of Huntington, WV; Clarissa Nuckols of Portsmouth, Ohio; and Christinia Nuckols of Portsmouth, Ohio.

He is also survived by his uncle, Jim (Tonya) Cullum of Portsmouth, Ohio.

He also leaves behind three grandchildren, and another grandchild is expected in February: Joshua Haynes Jr. of Newark; Joshua Grigsby III of Danville, Ohio; and Izabella Grigsby of Danville, Ohio.

Christopher will be cremated at the family's wishes. Arrangements are entrusted to F.C. Daehler Mortuary Co.
