Christine "Chris" Wise, 72, of Lucasville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023, at Adena Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Chris was a loving and devoted woman who found great purpose in her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), dedicating her career to caring for others through her service with MRDD. Her strength, warmth, and determination were a testament to the life she lived and the values she instilled in those she loved.

Above all, Chris treasured time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Wise, sharing thirty-five years of marriage and an unbreakable bond. Her love for her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Michael Riley, and her three grandchildren, Asia, Sandra, and David Riley, was immeasurable. She was a woman who meant what she said and led by example — teaching those around her that strength knows no bounds.

Chris is reunited in eternal rest with her husband, Richard Wise Jr.; her loving mother, Jane Rippen; her sister, Tootie; her brother, Whitey; and her nephew, Andy Myers.
